Installing Netbeans code templates

Postby fc_Remon » Wed Mar 03, 2010 8:12 am

I'm trying to setup my IDE and using Netbeans for the first time. Thanks for the tip btw! Somehow never ran into it until now. Was using PHPedit and Notepad++.

But I cannot find out how to install the Raxan code templates. If I go to Tools/Templates/ I can add files, but I've tried all files form the zip and even the zip itself. The files show up in my new Raxan folder but none of them add anything.

Finally I tried copying the xml files to /Applications/NetBeans 6.8.app/Contents/Resources/NetBeans/websvccommon1/config

Still nothing. Would like a little help here. Thanks.

I'm on a Mac at the moment.

Hi Remon,

You need to go to the Code Templates Menu tab:

Tools -> Options -> Code Templates (tab)

Once you're there click on the "Import" button at the bottom of the dialog to import the code templates.

Let me know if that works for you.

Ps. I'm using NetBeans 6.8
